I already did. I'm almost compelled to start a "Where is Brookside?" thread. :iono:

$37,000 Mystery Solved.........

So, perhaps the sales person djminkin was talking to was giving that dealer's 135i price which will include a new car dealer markup?

These guys are sketchy. I went to a mitsubishi dealer today and asked how much they are going to go for when they come out in January. He told me with a straight face 38-40k. I tried so hard not to laugh. Maybe the guy with the 37k is taking mark-ups into account.

Good luck convincing many here of that (as I am sure you know...). Remember, we should be honored to have BMW offer us this glorious machine.

Hey, leave the fanboys alone! I dont see anybody else shoving an underrated 300hp twin-turbo motor into a car smaller than a Honda Civic for less than 40k. <- i just opened the flood gates..lol I'm outta here.

At least you understand this...

The car certainly has merit, no question, but as I have said before, the only reason this site is littered with potential owners is because of the value that this car represents, nothing more. Sure it looks cool, has blistering performance and so on but the only reason we are here and not on the E90 site bragging about how we just bought our 335i is because of the value that the 135i should represent. If take value away, the 135i has very little purpose.
