New Rotors & Pads - Is this wear pattern normal?
Hello, my car got new brakes at 29K miles. I've put in around 400 miles since then of very light breaking.
I noticed the dark wear on the center of the disc. Is this wear pattern normal? |

After that park the car, try not to use the brakes when you park the car as you don't want the pads resting on the rotors or else you'll warp the rotor. Should help seat the pads into the rotors and prevent abnormal wear. |

Ok, I can do it, even though I've put 400 miles in already.
I'm wondering about parking it w/o hitting the brakes... just let it glide to a stop? use the manual break? And then wait until the disc are cool to the touch? |

And yes, you can do them even with 400 miles on them. |
