Cheers Shane. Might just take you up on that, although I'm still unsure which actually looks better. Looking forward to seeing your updated car!

The M badge was an M3 badge and is actually a little bit bigger than the 1M "M" badge. Therefore whilst the car is in having it's other bits sprayed, I'm going to have my 1M badge sprayed to match the other parts

.... and "Are they orange calipers?"

The tint is just Lamin-X "smoked" heavy duty plastic film, and the calipers are Red-- to match the red in the red-blue pin-striping that matches the colors in the M logo.......... or at least I told myself that to convince me to do it !!

It is 6:30 pm and raining here in the colonies, so outside pics ain't going to be that great, but here are a few close-ups of the pinstriping on the car. It is tape, NOT paint... not as classy as paint, but can be removed with no trace left behind.

Well you got it half right!... I am one of those "older guys", but the Olds/Lincoln part will NEVER fit! ... and no offense taken!
Customizing a car, be it go-fast or just "look-fast", is a very personal thing-- one mans beauty is anothers piece-of-crap..... and the line between "nice" mods and "way overdone" in a fine line!

... but the bottom line is "I is old"-- started playing with BMWs with a '73 2002 over 30 years ago, but trying to enjoy ever second of it!--- and I hope you are still playing with them 30 yrs from now.

BTY-- v1k0d3n, I see that you are from Charlotte. Are you going to VIR at the end of June for the 2-day BMW driving school? come on up and we can have some fun on the track!

I may come up to watch, but due to the surgeries (yes, multiple since jan) I may not partake. I have a friend who I think is going the same weekend...so maybe we can go together. I'm extremely familiar with VIR...it's one of my favorite tracks in the SE. I'll always try to find an excuse to go, if I can! Would be nice to meet you and maybe some others from the group.

PS (OP), sorry for thread jacking...I'm done now.

Garage List
I know this is an old thread but I've just installed the blackline tail lights on my BSM 1M.

In case anyone ever wondered how they would look on BSM, here's a comparison pic:

My opinion? I like them a lot I was afraid they would look too dark on BSM but actually I think they look very nice
