how do you like your msport shocks/eibach springs?

Just got so.e eibachs off of another 1er on the forum, just waiting for them to show up and I'm going to grab some msport shocks on Monday and pair them up.

I'm in a 2011 128i with only about 15000 miles on it and it's base suspension and I think it's even not too bad.

For the guys that have this setup, do you like it? Anything you would add or change to it?

as cheap as shocks are, if you're bothering to do the labor, get aftermarket stuff. the m sport shocks suck

The M-Sport shocks are terrible, don't waste your money.

Ok, but are they better than the non m sports. Also, what makes them terrible?

I'm in a similar situation as you so I'll toss in my thinking about the situation...

Got sport springs off a member for free, considered using the sport shocks as well but in all my reading here it seemed to be a general consensus that the 1's are underdampened from the factory to compensate for stiff sidewalled runflats. And like its already been said, if your going to have the car torn apart already, just invest in a better shock. Double maintenance is time wasted.

The stock M-sport dampers don't give much damping at all. Even when they are new, the car floats around like the dampers are already worn out and non-functional. BMW used to use good quality dampers for OE fitment (supplied from Bilstein). Somehow BMW dropped the ball with the dampers in the E82 M-sport.

Correct. The car on the stock springs rate is severely under-dampened. Coupling these with a lowering spring = bounce city. If you want a cheap OEM damper upgrade, buy E90 stuff.

I currently run stock m front struts, rear shocks and h&r super sports with the very aggressive front rake. Stock everything as far as suspension other than springs. I'm at 66k, no leaks, vibration, worn components. I do live in rural town and the roads are far from smooth until you get into civilization...but my car handles pretty well with the current set up. And I'm on stock alignment spec.
SO MUCH less body roll than stock, can tell right away, however, I still have a little "rubber banding" effect when connecting back to back turns, which will be solved with m3 parts hopefullly.
My next suspension step it to combine the konis sport shocks\struts with the h&r springs i currently have, with sways, arms and bushings..
Not looking for any real lowering benefits. The front height can stay the same, its perfect but, im hoping just a little extra tuck for the rear just to even the front and rear.
Current ride is pretty hard for daily especially uneaven roads, bumps, railroads ext, but I love it. I dig the rough jerky corning and can't wait to have this setup up and running and see the outcome! I'm bored with coilovers, time to have fun and expirement.

Anyone running koni sports and h&r super sport springs?

I have this setup and have been on it for about 5 mos. So far it's ok, but I have nothing to compare it to (in terms of THIS particular car), so I couldn't tell you how much better\worse it would be than Bilstein Sports, Koni, etc. with these springs. I'll just put it this way, the car drives just fine and my shocks are just fine condition wise (~28K miles on them before I put these springs in). If I were you, I would use Bilstein sports.

dude, like others said, save your money....I currently have that setup from the previous owner, and whenever I have some free time, definitely switching to Koni yellows.
