Yes, we did!

They are 17.8lb and 18.5lb

What's that in kilos (I'm not sure if US lbs are the same as UK lbs!)?

Yes, our pounds are the same (provided we're not talking currency), but our tons, pints and gallons are all off.

In KG, those work out to 8.1 and 8.4 f/r.
