Sorry, we are not here and we did not read your post so we can't respond. The Toyota Camry is the new "go to" car.

Our apologies.

Having a trophy car and barely driving it is akin to having a trophy wife and not sleeping with her.

You have 3 x 1 series ? ...... If so why ?

But when you do sleep with the trophy wife, it's the best. If you sleep with your trophy wife every night, you would eventullay get bored and find another trophy wife.

Last year when I was looking there were quite a few 1Ms with (to me) ridiculous asking prices $10K or more over the original MSRP. I did not see any of them selling, being as they were perpetually for sale. There were a few 1Ms without huge mileage that were listed for sale in the $45 to $50K range, and those did appear to sell, at least many of them did.

I haven't been looking at this market since I bought my 1M about a year ago. If all that has happened is that the ridiculously priced non-selling vehicles are no longer listed, this doesn't mean anything when it comes to determining actual selling prices. Only actual sales prices matter, and I don't know of anyone who has reliable data on that score.

I think you misinterpreted the point I tried to convey...

There will always be pristine examples commanding premiums, but I've noticed prices have dropped across the board from pristine low mileage cars to beat high mileage cars.

What Im saying is, I see the 1M's dropping in value but not below a certain threshold. Trust me I'm #Team1M before Im #TeamM2 , but for a lot of buyers the M2 is going to push the price of the 1M down and shrink the market.
Highest price for a 1M I have seen
