Xenon Replacement Bulb D1S
Hey guys,
Looks like one of my xenon bulbs is going (130i 2006) it turned very red/orange-ish today, so I believe its going to blow. Trying to do some research, Looking at Tichers/ECS tuning its nearly 192USD (not including shipping) for 1 bulb. Then there's like thousands of other places doing 80USD for a pair of bulbs. And then there's ebay ones for $30AUD, but have heard stories they may destroy the ballast etc.. Anyone know/tried any decent good quality bulb? or just go the oem one for safety? |

One of mine just blew up *sigh*
I ordered a pair of new ones, you really want to get the original (Sylvania). You can save some cash and buy my old working single if you like! (I'm going to put 2 brand new ones in) |

I ordered the exact part number that I took from the car. Turned out to be Sylvania (Osram).
I ordered from Amazon, I believe the link is: http://www.amazon.com/Sylvania-EAWHI.../dp/B005QQXO1U |

You can try Philips XenStart D1S. They are OE on alot of cars that use D1S bulbs.
I had Philips 85122 D2S (same output) in my RX330 retroed headlights and they were great. |
