OldBooster #1,#2 on DragTimes.com

Hello All,
I've been encouraged to post my new record drag times from Saturday at Florida's Bradenton Morotsports Park. Although it was hot, hot, hot and horribly humid -- and the fast cars were turning low times -- I managed a best ET of 11.63 at 119.76 MPH. That's a new record for the N54. Time slips below.

I had the newest JB3 1.4 piggy, methanol, 100 octane, IRC custom exhaust and intake using BMS DCI filter. Also, Code3 FMIC, Ar DPs, Quaife LSD, Kosei K-1s with Hoosier drag radials.

I plan to be more active on this forum. Best wishes to all. Cheers! Larry

The automatic cars can get into the mid 12s with 100 octane, single-nozzle methanol spray kit, FMIC, a drop-in K&N filter, and drag radials, like Nitto 555Rs. Of course, a lot of practice launching. Even with street tires, proper throttle control to avoid spinning will get you there!

Great Job!!!

Abel, I managed a 12.8 with nothing but a JB2H, runflats, and no other mods, early last year. So, if you have a current gen tune, you should easily be able to do that with enough runs in!

Dayum, pushed my 12.329 down to 16th. :P But you can ignore all the runs with R/Ts below .500 seconds. Thats cheating.

It's not cheating it's intelligent staging =P
Deep staging is for heads-up racing.
If you wanna kill the clock, stay as far as you can from the line.

Congrats on a killer run, Booser
Next stop: ASR turbos and 10.9s? =P

I believe Larry shifts every gear himself, and from talking to him him, He stages the 135 and holds the break as hard as possible and just lets her rip once the green falls. That quaife LSD and race slicks really do their job from there!
