i believe that in order to NOT overdrive it, would require a huge pulley based on the pulley its being driven from.

Correct or at least double do slow it down a bit

His kit is not in question as the faults that plagued it should be ironed out by now, it's the overdriven pump that's the weak link in the whole setup

I'm not convinced it is tbh. if bmw didn't take 6 revisions to finally get the pump right and the latest pump came out right from the start nobody would be questioning the reliability of the pump or the fact that it's overdriven.

the latest pump part is miles ahead of the earlier failure prone revisions.

I mean look at turbos lol so many of them are run way beyond the speeds they come from the factory and they are fine.

really need to see some tests other then from vargas himself. I only asked the question about not overdriving the pump because two hpfp at normal speed is plenty of fuel for me and my requirements.

Correct me if I'm wrong about vtts setup

Isn't it one over driven pump continually and another capable over driven pump which is controlled by pwm or a boost signal.

The only issue I see is the custom wheel thing, not the pump.
Also vtts reputation which has been questionable.
Also you will need a built motor to last on 600 odd hp

Hpfps shouldn't be an issue.
Tuning it with an extra input for the second pump and adjusting the over driven pump shouldn't be hard for people that can tune already.

If you had a built engine this would be worth testing.

I'm still not convinced on the reliability of the factory hpfp at other than normal speeds

I had the latest revision fail before it was 10k old
And at around 900 dollars plus per pump it's rather expensive to replace like a set of spark plugs
