///M Mats

So I got the ///M mats this week from a nice gentleman in NJ who had them on eBay (thanks very much for the quick shipping and good price).

Germans must have larger feet than Americans, because I noticed that they are smaller in overall size than the plain black mats that came from the factory (I did ED). I find this a little odd, but I don't think that will make much of a difference in the end, I'm pretty careful with my feet.

The mats look awesome in the car, they really complete the interior, and anyone on the fence, go for it, you won't regret it for a minute!

Anyone find a decent carpet mat for the trunk? I did not have anything in my 135, and regretted it b/c the stock trunk lining snags easily, and gets marked up quickly even with light use. I have found some nice ones form BMW for the M3 and M6, with the ///M logo etc, but nothing except the rubber/plastic one that is also available for the 1 series, which is not what I had in mind.

Yeah, I have the cheesy plastic one in mind, and was hoping they had a nice carpeted one as well. Doesn't fit the look of the car but at least it's protected.

Yes I got them for a good deal. United BMW has them listed on ebay for $139 with free shipping, that was my plan B, I have not seen them any cheaper than that.

I was looking a some custom trunk mats on JC Whitney and Griots that were carpet, prices ranged from $90 to $140. I would love to get it with orange stitching and an ///M logo. I might also check with a local upholstery shop to see what they would charge.

I have the BMW rubber trunk mat, and BMW rubber interior mats in addition to the ///M mats. I find that the rubber mats just keep things cleaner on a DD. A friend has an e90 M3, and his M3 mats look awful after 15 months. Plus, I have the aluminum pedals and they really stand out with the rubber mats. Easy clean up too!

We don't have a problem price matching most of the time.... remember that getting the best price is not always the best way to go. Our customer service and same day shipping [on most parts] make us a good choice to come to. Not trying to shoot myself in the foot here, but Tischer is the same way. We both offer great service and you get what you pay for

Any chance of running another group buy on these for people who missed the first round still waiting for their car?

After 2 failed attempts from my dealer, it appears I'm finally getting my free Orsnge stitched mats. They sent a plain black set to me on 11/23, which was clearly not the correct ones. Then, they reordered a second set which arrived at the dealership last week. For some odd reason, this set had "M" logos, but black stitching. They contacted BMW and got a third set shipped, which arrived yesterday at the dealer with orange stitching. Hopefully, they'll arrive to me before Christmas.

Glad you were finally able to get them Mike. BTW, make sure to get the rubbers as well (if you don't have them already). I'm SO glad I have them, and use them WAY more than I do the orange stitched matts (about 90/10% rubber to stitched). Plus, they're a lot cheaper to replace...and easier to replace.

Agree 100% - best price is not always the best way to go. We offer competitive pricing AND great customer service and support. You really can't go wrong ordering from us or United, we'll both go out of the way to offer you the best service possible - before, during, and after the sale. Not to mention it's always good to support the site sponsors that on here helping out.

Happy Holidays everyone!

^^^I hope so. My dealer in GA finally recieved the correct ones on Monday, then turned them the same day to IL. My wife took delivery of the box this afternoon and confirmed they're the correct ones.

Yup, sure can. We have 'em on special here. (select the 1M Coupe option in the dropdown of the standard BMW carpet mats special)
