DCT aport mode question
Hi guys I have a 2011 135i with fbo running a wedge E40 protune. Whenever I use the sport button I notice that the shifts under full throttle are so violent that it almost cuts the throttle if I have traction control on.
Anyone else notice this? It's not that bad without the sport button pushed, but I just want to know if this is the amount of torque and the DCT being unable to handle it or if it's something else. |

I'm stock but I've had the car break loose on a 1-2 shift before. I wouldn't say the DCT cant handle it, sounds like your car wants to break loose but DTC is keeping that from happening.

My car is stock, my traction control turns on at full throttle when shifting in manual + sport mode. Get stickier/wider tires and turn off traction control. Full traction control is very sensitive. Tap it once to go to a lower setting that allows some wheel spin.
