What Kidney Grilles Are these?
I have a 2011 135 Mtech that I picked up with only 6k miles.
The grilles I've seen online and in everyones pictures have straight vertical slats with no details. My grilles have vertical slats as well but at the top there is this "arch" detail within the vertical slats. The grilles are matte black and I'm wondering if they are aftermarket or stock for the 135 Mtech. Anyone know? Last edited by INDPNDT; 07-30-2012 at 04:40 AM.. |

Aftermarket. Stock 135 kidneys have chromed slats and surround.

2012 M-sport I test drove had Chrome kidneys. My 2010 m-sport has Chrome too (well, not so much of it now, actively changing that as we speak).
The BMWP kidneys are black though. As are a lot of aftermarket options.

It's weird because the car was completely stock and it was owned by an older woman. Just can't imagine her going out and popping in some aftermarket grilles. Haha. I guess you never know though.

As for the grills, I am not sure who makes those particular ones. |

I did buy from a dealer however it wasn't the dealer who I bought the car from who told me, it was my local dealer who did the service. I had asked when I brought it in because they had her name on the paperwork and not mine. Haha |
