I know. A week after I put 20" on my 2014 mazda 6 my sister curbed them. What do you think of the gold? It what I'm leaning towards currently.

Not a fan of the gold personally. If it were me I would go with a light titanium gunmetal with black accenting and a high gloss clear over all of it. Or just gunmetal all over with the clear. Simple and most importantly for me, clean.

If you like the gold, go for it. You'll need to do a total amber delete though, gold clashes HORRIBLY with amber reflectors.

Another note: you could go for a sort of Hyperblack with gold fleck in it. Could look cool. Dunno if they make something like that.

Good example of the color I had in mind:

Would look awesome with some black contrasting in there too. You could probably have them put whatever color flake you wanted as well to give it depth.

looks good. The wife hates the gold so it might be a couple days in the dog house if I do go for it. Although after reseaarch bronze is more what I was thinking of. I am worried about the grey contrasting with the black on the bmw. The black bmw uses has just a touch of grey and it always drove me bonkers when I had the anthricite wheels cause it clashed to me.

Anthracite is quite dark compared to the above though.

Going in on Friday to talk with the guy refinishing them. He has a ton of samples there he said. He had mentioned a Lamborghini gray that apparently looks awesome.

After listening to many wise people telling that i should not do gold and should go with grey, I've decided to go with a dark Lambo grey. After talking to the Skip at skips wheel werks here in beaverton and seeing all the other wheels he had just refinished. I heeded his advice. Sitting mine next to one he had done in the same color it was an easy choice. I also realized the anthricide has a ton of blue hue to it. Cant wait to post picks. Thanks for the advice folks.

IAmTheOne - Could I ask where you sourced your replica M3 wheels from? I would love to see what replica E46 M3 wheels (with suitable 1 series offset) look like

I got mine from the tire rack. I will be putting on a wide body kit on the front fenders in the coming months so I can get 255 series tires on there.

curious what offsets they are and where you got them. I like these wheels a lot but I thought they were too aggressive in offset and we couldn't use them.
