DIY Immediate Request. Disconnecting Rear Diff.
Hello forum members.
I'd like some help from someone who has dropped the rear subframe on the car. Currently disconnected the undercarriage crossmembers, exhaust, brake lines, and a while bunch of bolts off. Mostly following the DIY at http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=365404 I've come up to disconnecting the rear differential and have the AR design wrench but am having no success disconnecting the diff from the drive shaft to remove the subframe. Can someone explain which way to turn the nut off the rear diff (with relationship to car) and let me know if I'm supposed to keep the e-brake on or the car in gear? Thanks a ton forum members! |

Yep. Some asshat at Sonic MS put blue threadlocker on the shaft when they should have used anti-seize.
Had to crawl up to where the transmission bolts to the drive shaft and brace the drive shaft using a wrench on one of the nuts. |
Appreciate
