Where are my wheel gurus at...

EDIT*******

So after some good info i think I have decided to get a set of custom LM5's. Please give me some input on wether or not these sizes are going to be an issue. I WILL be rolling the fenders, but don't want to do any fender work unless it's absolutely needed.
18x9 +38f, 18x10 +40r. Lowered on Broadway static coil overs, and I'll prob run 215/40, 245/35. Any fender work needed with that setup?
I don't want your opinions on function over form!!!! Don't clutter my thread up with your bullshit opinions on wether you like "flush" or not. If you have something valid to add please by all means comment. Thanks

Sounds like you have the idea formulated pretty well. The main error I see is thinking a 9 inch wide et 48 wheel would work better. No way Jose. My front 8.5 inch wide et 42 wheel is 4 mm from the strut. So a that et 48 wheel would need more like a 15mm spacer.

If those wheels are nice I'd go for it. I'd get them with Nitto 555's or Toyo T1R's 225/40 and 255/35, then I'd make that fit. With other brands of tires you might want the sizes you mentioned, but if you go with a tire that runs small like those above, it will be uselessly stretched on those wheel since then the wheels will rub first anyways.

Try to shoot for only lowering your suspension less than 1 inch. "Pull the pin" up front and then when you get an alignment get them to bump up your rear camber to around 2deg each side. Make them ignore factory recommendations and keep your toe very close to zero. Remind them that 1M's run way less toe than the factory 135 settings. My tires are wearing fine and I'm running max factory camber both front and rear plus the front M control arms.

It should work and just rub occasionally as long as you keep the suspension not too low and the tires stretched and around 1 to 2 deg camber each side front and rear.

Btw, I'd call my fit slightly beyond flush, poking somewhat, your setup will be more poked than that if you go with it. My setup would be closer to consider flush if I had my rear fenders trimmed. My setup is listed in my signature.

I really appreciate the constructive feed back. I don't want a lot of poke at all because I don't want to run crazy neg camber. If I can get away with the m sport suspension(which is what I currently have) then I'll do that. But I'm foreshadowing having to get coil overs to achieve what I want. I'll go with one those brands of tires you requested since they run small anyway. Will I need to do any other fender mods than rolling? Ie pull, trim, etc?

I'm sure you are gonna have to add some camber to make it work. Mild camber doesn't look bad to me and will help tuck the top of the rims in which will make it look less poked. You'll also definitely need to do at least a little fender work such as trimming the rear fender liner, etc. My rears did not rub at all with 255 Toyos but your setup will be 8 mm further poked out.

Good stuff! Yea a had to place a call to WORK and have them contact japan to see if the A disk would clear the front calipers. I used to run 18x10 +18 on my 06 STI but had to run like -4 camber in the rear....don't wanna go that aggressive again! Hahaha. So if I can get away with rolling the front and tears and maybe trimming a little inner liner and no more than -2 camber...I can deal with that. Just hate to drop $4320 and be off on the front offset when I could have chosen a diff offset ya know. Then again if I drop that much coin...I'll make them fit! Haha. Thanks for the advice bud

Stretch, poke, and flush.

Keywords for poor decisions.
