What belongs here??
I just bought a used 135 and it is certified. The dealer and I are wondering what belongs here (see picture) as they don't have one on the lot to compare it to. The tool kit looks skimpy an it looks like something belongs here but is missing. They will replace whatever belongs here, but they need to know what it is (I'd like to know also).
Thanks for your help. |

Nothing goes there. Mine came empty. I bought my car new. Since I am over here in Germany... and I have the long euro tags... I put my USA front tag bracket in that spot.
Btw... now that you mention it... I wonder why they put those two screw sockets in there? I looked at RealOEM.com website... found the trunk stuff... and this plastic pan... but they do not show anything that goes there either. Maybe ask a dealer IF it really bothers you. The most important thing is to make sure you have a tow hook in the black leather pouch. You should also have a screw driver in there as well. - David - |

Interesting, I do have a tow hook and a screwdriver (budget tool kit for the price of the car). Seems like a lot of effort to make a spot with inserts and all to put nothing in. Any one else??

My 'vert was the same. I moved the "tool kit" beside the battery and use that space for the manuals, an umbrella, a towel and a small bottle of detailing fluid with a microfiber cloth. I also fit a 12v compressor and DynaPlug kit beside the battery.
