Brakes

Hi Crew,

I have the Idrive spitting chips every time i start the car about my Front brakes need replacing.

So i have a couple of Questions
  1. Should i get the discs machined , when getting the pads changed?
  2. Can anyone recomend a good brake repair shop in Brisbane or the Gold Coast?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The idrive or the brake sensor it self can never know when do you need brake discs. It attaches to the brake pads and wears down as the pads worn out. Then the discs must be measure in the workshop to check whether they are at their minimum thickness. And they are recommended to be change when they reach their minimum thickness.
