N55 sub-forum

I've been lurking around some on here since picking up my 1er a couple months ago. A great deal of good info and advice to be had on these forums!

I'm wondering if the N55 doesn't deserve it's own engine/exhaust sub-forum though as it is sometimes confusing as to which mods are ffered for which and I can only imagine it will get more confusing as the N55 gets more and more mods coming out that are not compatible with the N54. Seems to be a lot of N55 questions being answered with answers that only apply to the N54.

Just a thought from a new guy so feel free to disregard it but given the substantial difference between the two engines and turbos sharing a sub-forum is already looking like a bad idea.

It does, you're correct.

I think when more tuning and hardware options are available for the N55, another sub form will be created. Just wait, it will happen!

The quicker a sub-forum is created, the less work there will be for moderators to move all the N55 relevant information over to the correct forum. No sense in waiting for the amount of information and after-market parts and tuning to grow, that is inevitable the sub-forum will naturally grow as well. I just ordered a 2011 135i and am very excited to watch it grow
