Having seen both in person, Montego has a tinge of purple in it. Maybe even more than a tinge. And that's just when seeing it on its own without comparing it to lemans. Lemans is a pure blue colour. No purple in it at all.

Agreed. Estoril blue is a gorgeous colour. I remember seeing it on a lot of e36 M3's back in the day.
