Edmunds tunes their 135i with DME

Edmunds.com finally decided to take the plunge and see what tuning can do with the n54. I searched and didnt find this posted anywhere else yet...I have not heard of DME tuning discussed on these forums. It will be interesting to see how their tuned 135i compares with their modified Evo X and also to test potential reliability issues over the long term. What does everyone think?

conforti is a tuning legend for bmw's. does that make his tune good? who knows-- engines have changed so much over the years, but i bet this tune will be effective and relatively safe.

Just read up on DME, for the money the reflash sounds very very good. Looks like another great tuning option for people that don't want to spend thousands for a reflash

I saw it yesterday and I am interested to see what they say, Maybe the 135 will finally start to get the praise it deserves; yes they like it but not like that 2002 M3 they have. Every post about the old M3 is rabid. I think the exhaust could fall off that thing and they would praise the new sound. Maybe the hood could fly off and they would go on for 5000 words about the beauty of the M powerplant.
