HPFP Warranty Extension

Just received a notice in the mail from BMW extending the warranty on the HPFP to 10 years, 120,000 miles. It references the 'long crank' (all jokes apply ;-) and 'Service Engine Soon' lamp illuminated. No date on the letter but it arrived in today's mail.

yep, got the same letter, posted the same note in the warranty section, good to have a little more peace of mind in case the HFFP goes sometime down the road.

Just got my letter, thank god, my car can barely start-up, in fact it fails to do so 1/10 attempts. Can't be good for the engine, I have to have some diagnostics done on that too.

(my buddies fuel pump just went out this morning haha)

if mine goes four times I may try to go lemon law on it and then buy out the new car on the old car lease buy out price, because I've heard that's doable
