Arrow N.A. Debut: 1M-Specific KW V3 Pictures

KW just sent these to us for evaluation at MSR Houston. A lucky owner here will have these on his car soon

As many of you know, KW recently redesigned the damper adjustment mechanism. Compression and rebound settings can be changed independently by simply rotating knobs mounted on the dampers.

There are 12 clicks for compression; 18 clicks for rebound.

Special thanks to Bob and Chris at KW.

Stay tuned.

Can rebound and compression be adjusted separately on these? Fixed rate springs?

Yes - compression and rebound independently adjustable.

Progressive springs are made such that some coils of the spring would bind before others during compression.

KW lists V3's springs as progressive on their application list, but if you look at the springs, the front might be slighly progressive at the limit; the rear is really a linear spring that utilizes stock lower mount for noise insulation.

Is that car White or Black?

Will it be ready for your MSR event on Saturday?

Looking forward to evaluation

It would be great to hear some feedback on various settings for track (general) and for everyday road usage. I am waiting on my 1M (due August) and will get the KW kit and some more goodies.

Great work Richard! I'm looking forward to a set of these for the 1M too and look forward to the comparison and settings for street/track use.

I would recommend the Clubsports if you are intending to track the 1M and if a fast road application is all you are after then the V3's will be spot on....

Will do. The car's owner is a club racing driver himself, and our test driver is Tony R. who won 2008 Porsche GT3 Cup. We will tune the dampers and provide recommended settings for the street and track.

Very cool Richard! Sorry I haven't sent you an email just yet, been tied up with a few things.

I'm looking forward to seeing the results. What sets you guys apart from most vendors is that you guys really go out and do some track testing! Amazing work!
