I'm looking at ordering a set of the Alufelgen CS7's and am looking for some fitment help. Should I be looking at the 18x8 +45 / 18x9 +48 setup, or the 18x8.5 +40 / 18x9.5 +48 setup? I'd like to run a 235/265 setup if possible too. I'm on the stock sport suspension right now, so I'm really only looking to see if it will fit with that. I may lower the car down the road, but I'll address fitment then if I need to. I'm looking at probably running the MPSS, or contiextreme tires, just for some additional info with fitment. Any help with this would be awesome. Also, if anyone has actual pictures of the wider setup on their car, that would great too.

Unrelated to fitment, but if anyone has a side by side comparison of the gunmetal and hyper black finishes, that would be great too. I appreciate any help with this.

I think 235/265 in the rear is gonna rub, their recommend tire sizes are

Alufelgen CS7
18x8.0 ET45 - 225/40/18
18x9.0 ET48 - 255/35/18

From what I've read, MPSS run large so 235/265 MPSS setup will not work on CS7s.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That's one of the exact setup options I have this spring. From what I've seen, 235/265 shouldn't rub on the CS7 offsets. That's actually one of the only reasons I'm considering them. I know the ARC-8 offsets can run them with room to spare and the CS7s aren't too far off in position in the fender. I am prepare to roll a tad where I have to though.

I run these wheels. 235/265s do not rub on the stock sport suspension. I run 265/35 in the rear. With the right offset you can get 285s to fit.

I stand corrected. Will 265s of any tire brand work, or are wide running tires like Michelin PSS pushing it with CS7s with a 48 offset?

Ended up pulling the trigger on the 18x8.5 +40 / 18x9.5 + 48 setup today. Talking on the phone with the guys at **********s, they were giving me suggestions on tire setups, and they are saying a 225/40 up front, and 255/35 in the right brands out back would work well. Does anyone have any personal experience with this setup, and what tires they went with? Pictures and if you had to roll the fenders would be good to know too.

Those only run .1" narrower than the MPSS. Sounds like they are quite wide and meaty. Good to hear. How much clearance do you have between your tire shoulder and the inside of the fender?

Looks like we are getting some new One owners that are trying to fit aggressive wheels and figure out what offsets and tires will work.

In the earlier days of this website, no one really thought offsets like you are mentioning on the CS7 would work at all. We now know it can be made to work. Some of the wheel gurus have even made much crazier stuff work. However, you really have to be careful with tire brands, lowered suspensions, etc.

I've had another car with aggressive wheels and now the wheels I have listed below. In both cases I had reasons to buy such aggressive fitments. In this case with those CS7, I'd buy the 8 and 9 inch wheels to start with. You can make the half inch wider ones work, but you'll never be able to run full width tires. I guess if you like stretched tires go ahead with the wider wheels.

For tires, even on the stock suspension, I'd buy 215/40/18 PSS fr and 245/35/18 r. For sure you can fit 225 and 255 with many tire brands and maybe even 235 and 265, but not with full running tires like the PSS. I'd guess that 225 and especially the rear 255 PSS would rub with passengers on those wheels with the stock suspension.

Blaze, it looks like you are gaining info looking at charts. I'd warn you that tire manufacturers don't measure equally. I don't know for sure about Nitto NT05s, but I have used Nitto N555s. They run very small. I'm pretty sure that I could run most Falken, Toyo, or Nitto 265s on the rear of my car as I'm setup without rubbing. I just bought 255 PSS's and they rub.

Look at the other post with Sarge on VMR's. He got it to work, but he mentions a half inch of fender work and the tires he's using do not run as full as PSS's.

When purchasing the wheels, they were on sale and the 8" / 9" combo was not in stock. I'm not terribly concerned with fitting the most rubber possible on this car, but I would like to have decent grip at least. It's definitely not first go around with picking a wheel setup for a car, but this car has a bit of a learning curve in this department compared to my previous cars(WRX, 350Z, and Evo). Like I said though, the place I bought them from told me what setups they know will work, and they said a 255 PSS will for sure rub in the rear. I'm not totally opposed to a little fender work if I can fit more rubber though. Really looking to see some setups from other people who have this setup and what worked for them before I buy something though.

I will be trying 235/265 on CS7s (or even more aggressive V701s) in the next week. I will report back here with pics and impressions.

When I was lowered on KW's, 225/255 rubbed with Yokohama S-Drives, however no rubbing at all (not even over big bumps) with 225/255 Bridgestone RE-11's.

If lowered you will need something with a rounder sidewall.

My update:
CS7s with 235/265 MPSS rub in the rear on moderate dips and compression. Rolling of the fenders is necessary to be rub-free. I am on what i am pretty sure is stock suspension. With no fender mods yet.

Nice deal Blaze. Make sure you really try to pull out the fender where it connects to the bumper. I can't get over how meaty and evil my 255 PSS's look, so 265 must REALLY look great!

Yeah the 265s look pretty bulgy. Ill get pics soon. I already had to do a little self-adjustment of that fender/bumper area as it was slicing a little V into the shoulder of the tire.

Is this on the 18x8.5 / 18x9.5 setup? I ended up just getting 255's for the rears on this setup anyways, but the wheels won't be here for another couple days, so I won't have impressions from my setup until the weekend.
