128i overlays are now available (N52 only). They may work on others, but i don't know for sure.

Close up. Hard to tell they're not factory.
Nice work! May I ask if this can be used for E92 335i cluster?

M3 clusters have it. I'm sure you could get a talented coder to make it work for you and sit at the proper redline after warmup

You can do it, it's just not trivial from a coding perspective. There was a German member here who had a proper M3 cluster swapped into his 35i, he has a 2er now don't recall his user name.

I'm a tech at a dealership in SoCal and was screwing around with ISTA and wanted to see what would happen if I marked the cluster for replacement and tossed in an M3 cluster. Who knew lol. The cluster's physical fitment isn't perfect, but it stays in after some sanding down on the sides. The faceplate is cracked and it pisses me off, but I only paid $15 from eBay for it so no biggie.

Are the gauges accurate? Can you see the part that you had to sand once it's installed?

1) Yes
2) No

Checked the accuracy and it falls within the area of correction that the OEM cluster has.

Hmm, gonna have to see if a local junk yard happens to have a M3 cluster in good shape.
