Ha Ha, yes thats true for houses and cars,

7k for both is much more enticing then 7k each which is just extreme

I've got those Porsche seats in 4 of my Porsches. Super comfortable, and doesn't feel as tight as the one piece lightweight version of Porsche's seat. However if I was modding a 1M, I would put in the Recaros used for M3 GTS.

Not only that Way, the GTS seats will speak Munchen, which may make them more compatible than the P car seats for the 1M. I had those in my Cayman R, they were nice that's for sure.

Yup. Only place Porsche seats belong outside of a Porsche is a Golf Mk1 or Mk2. I sold a set of a 996 GT3 fixed seats to Mikinoz for his Mk1 and it looks hot in there!

Recaro is not entertaining the idea about a custom seat - but I don't think I have asked the right person. Sabelt says they have stopped doing it but might start again later in the year.

The GTS seats are Profi SPG which you can't incline the seat forward which render the back seats useless. The beauty of the GT2 seats is that you can still move the seat back forward so you have access to back seat, and you still got the side airbag like the Performance Seats.

If I am going to do a 1M club sport, than the Profi SPG make sense. I might still ended up doing it that way as I am starting to hit road blocks on what I would like to do with the car.

Yes, Donald - better seats and harness probably give you better lap times than other mods.

Thanks for this, but I haven't had major upgrades for a while. At the moment, learning the car on track before going into some suspension upgrades.

Probably just shock, spring and camber plates at this stage. I have been speaking to a couple of suspension experts here in Australia, and the first stage is for me learn more about the car.

had KW V3 for my car.. most people say V3 is more to a street-usable coilovers, if you're into track stuff many recommend ohlins.. well i never track my car.. it was the first time for me to purchase a coil so its kindof an experiment.. and i cant stand 1M stock suspension's height x_x lol..
man i love your car, btw.

Unfortunately I bought them before the F1 weekend. They just arrived today. On the car, and surprisingly rides pretty well, and not much noise.

how much did you pay for them? nice upgrade.. i was still looking for tires for my RI-D, they are coming in next week when they got out from the paint booth, i decided to paint them, eventhough i bought them brand new, i just dont like to be twinnies especially here in Indonesia, like tons of M's running on DBK Ri-D..

well i think i will just use my OEM tires, only had 2300kms on them.. never tracked.. they seems great, rather than just leaving them in the living room, the rubbers will die and will lose its grip later..

well i tend to be a more michelin person since i still seek for balance used.. probably will never track the car.. since i dont have any tracks near here..

PS. I feel you bro, cars here are as expensive as they are in AUS..
