Odd that they'd post that video out of the blue (no pun intended) but hopefully it's a prelude to an in-depth review to come.

I also assume the BRZ ran away at the end because it was scared. =)

You can also call the 1-800# and our old pal Brunehilde can give you updates as well. The 800# is usually a day or two ahead of the bmw website as that seems to lag behind.

That's 1-800-831-1117. Can bypass all her annoying prompts by hitting 2 when she first comes on...then wait...as she starts to talk, enter your production #...she'll think about it and ask you if it's a partial vin or production order #, say production order #, and she'll tell you the status (usually 1 day behind).

Nice. My 09 is AW.

Btw, how are you guys mounting the front lic plate holder(for those that don't drill)?

On my '09, I used plastic cable ties in front of the intercooler, angled with lover part of plate in, and upper plate barely touching outside of bumper(maybe 60 degree angled outward). Lasted nearly four years with no issue, and I don't think it impeded airflow too much.

For the IS my sales advisor recommended the tow hook holder, but Unless you loctite it I bet it's stolen rather quickly.

Ive used towhook mounted license plates for over 2 years on my cars and have never had one stolen.

I refuse to put a front plate on mine and told the dealer, if you mount one, I will not accept delivery. Haven't had a front plate on my car since 2002 and never gotten a ticket or anything, but may depend on how anal your local cops are, etc.

I picked up my lemans blue dct 135is 2 weeks ago. I love it so far the exhaust sounds perfect. I already got the performance black grills and led halo bulbs. I have my first track day with it next weekend. Ill post up pictures when I get home later

What LED Halo bulbs did you go with?

I got them off eBay the are the 4 LED 20w ones. They are pretty bright during the day I was pretty happy with them

Has anyone been able to find OEM replacement mats for the black interior with blue stitching. I want to pick up another pair just in case something happens to mine. I'm OCD about stuff like this and my car hasn't even arrived yet.

A quick pic I snapped earlier this week when I picked her up! The Performance Exhaust is glorious - I downshift for every underpass and garage now just to hear the burble and bellow. I'd even go as far to say that it makes Northern VA traffic bearable with a 6MT. I hope to snap more this weekend - if not, I'll definitely have some next week when I seal the paint.

Looks amazing. Wish I had the stones to order that color.

I think about 3-4 of us are getting ours this week! Can't wait to hear more in depth what you think of it in the coming weeks, that is, if you ever get out of it! I'm envisioning you google mapping to find every tunnel and garage you can to hear that exhaust.
