Code P0192
So started up my car a few days ago and it died right away. Got yellow half engine light. Tried to start it again and the same thing happened. Car is stock except for PPK1, plus a few other things (see sig) that wouldn't make a difference.
Checked for codes on my OBD2 scanner and code P0192 (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Low) popped up. Cleared the code and my car started up right away with no problems. Been running fine ever since. Emailed my service advisor and she said the pre-catalyst (before the catalytic converter) fuel trim is too lean on bank 2. She also said it could be related to gas (use Chevron 91 octane, so doubt that), corrupt software or 50+ other possible things. They can do a diagnostic for me at $163, but since I have already cleared it, I'd have to wait for the light to come back on in order for them to give me an accurate diagnostic. I'm thinking, since it hasn't happened again and because the car started up right away and has been driving fine since I cleared out the code, maybe a software hiccup? They happen on my laptop once in a while. Possibly a part going bad? Did a search and not much came up. You guys got any thoughts?
