Pre-set not saved after re-start

Ok so to me this is a weird one. Every once in awhile I will jump back into the car after driving and upon start up get static from the radio. I'll look at what frequency it is on and it will no be on the channel it was on when I shut the car off minutes before. The station is still saved in the pre-sets, however the radio is no longer tuned to it, but rather the lowest frequency on the spectrum. Weird thing is it happend in my wife's 2013 X3 everyonce in a while as well, not as frequent but it still happens. Any ideas?

Not to be a jerk, but 115 looks and no replies? So no one has seen this and I have two BMW's that have the issue....

My 2011 135i M Sport Convertible will actually loose all the programmed presets from time to time. It goes to the dealer tomorrow.

My car needed a new battery. Low voltage caused the radio preset problem.
