Cumulative ECU Build Using JB4

I can't find the answer to this. I recently had my 2011 135i M-Sport 6MT ECU reflashed with the BMW Performance Power Kit (PPK). Although I can tell there is a slight performance improvement it wasn't as much as I expected nor desired. Because my baseline HP/TQ is now 320/320 will a JB4 flash add to that or will it ignore/overwrite my PPK and set it's own HP/TQ numbers i.e., can/will one flash cumulatively add to another? If so, what HP/TQ improvement and performance increase could I reasonably expect?

A JB4 is not a DME flash, its a piggyback that biases certainly signals and relays targets back to the DME. Very effective, but not a flash, and not the same approach as the PPK.

A JB4 will run stronger on a tune only car, and will provide all you need as you continue modding the car, because you won't stop at the tune. You'll want to reflash to the stock tables before installing JB4. PM Terry and he'll get things figured out for you.

From what I remember, talking to Terry he told me that the jb4 just ignores the PPK and works as just a jb4 so you don't have to flash your car back to stock. But I might be wrong!

JB will override current settings regardless. it does not stack/is not cumulative.

Thanks everyone, I should have gone with the JB4 as recommended. But I went for the PPK because it's supported under warranty and for as long as I own my 135i even after my warranty expires. From your posts it appears I can still add the JB4 as well as retain my PPK. I don't want to lose my PPK because of the purchase and installation costs. Who is Terry and how can I contact him? Thanks.

Terry Burger owns BMS. Go to their website or his forum and you will find everything you need.
