Those awaiting their N55s to arrive

In the wee hours of the morning and I'm struggling to sleep, so I thought I might start a new thread for us future N55 135i owners! I know there's a few of you out there who's eagerly awaiting May

.

My sales guy has informed me on Monday that the ship containing my beloved is scheduled to dock on May 4, so I'm hoping to have the car before weekend of the 15th. This is pretty much exactly 5 months from the date I ordered the car

, just as well I am fairly busy at work for the next week or two to help pass the time

.

Are there others with some solid dates as to when your cars are coming in? Let's compete for the title of the first 135i N55 to land in Australia

Cool, you will have to write a little review for us on how the N55 is once you get it. I rang up my dealer a couple of days ago and its currently being built, I wont have mine in my hands until June

Not likely - they say that it takes 14-17 days from the time the ship docks to getting your car. Mine was a bit of an extreme case but my ship docked on the 12th of March and my car wasn't available until the 8th of April.

Mine docked on 22nd March, and is being collected in 57 minutes.....

Yeah I thought as much

, the dealer said he'll try to push for it but obviously customs are out of his control. Just hoping for it then, as I won't have a car to drive by then and really need a car the following week.

Auto Classic just rang to advise that they will be seeing mine on 26th May. So should be a May delivery with a bit of luck. I ordered mine a few days before Xmas as well.

Not sure if the docking ETA is correct but if it is, looks like it'll be later than May.

A chance we might be in a race then, if my ship gets delayed or car held up at customs... fingers crossed

Mine is on the good ship Toronto as well. Due into Fremantle on 14th May - must be the only time when WA (Wait Awhile) does not have its usual meaning.

Hmm I don't actually know what ship mine's on - I was informed by the dealer that it was docking May 4!

Will be a tight race after all. Considering at the start I was quoted an April delivery, well, what ever happened to under promise and over deliver?

I was thinking that, but the dude previously stated the ship is docking in Melbourne May 4, and in the letter it said May 7. Already emailed him for the ship name for tracking purposes, so we'll see!
