Get it new or slightly used?`
Hey guys,
Well it looks the tide is turning for me so I expect in the next 6-8 months to be getting a 135 . I was really mulling over get a 2002 M5 or 540 M Spec (all the M badging like the 135) but I decided ultimately to go with a new 135. I have been looking on leasebusters and seen a few that spark some interest. My question is should I save the delivery and PDI fee's and downpayment and take over someone's 2008 lease or get brand new brand new 2009 with the new iDrive. Just looking for opinions here.. Thx M. |

I love the new iDrive...yeah it's a couple more bucks, but IMO totally worth it. Plus I'm not a fan of buying someone else potential problem.

The '09 iDrive starts faster, seems more responsive than the older iDrive and certainly seemed to calculate the routes a LOT faster.
It's also a lot nicer to use with the dedicated buttons around the control knob. The screen has a much higher resolution and it's wide screen so you can do the split screen thing throughout. I certainly feel like it was worth waiting for the 2009... |

Wow that sounds very cool..I had a 2006 E90 with iDrive. I dont know why folks dont like it or find it hard to use. I LOVED it and how it integrated all settings plus the Bluetooth display was wicked! The only thing about was having to go back to the start menu if you made a mistake so the quick buttons are a improvement.
How do you like the new Nav? |
