At the rate some dealers are moving used 1M, you could possibly trade in your VO at your new AW price and the dealer would still make $$ when they resell it. A particular dealer is Sydney have moved more than a couple for $130k.

) and a polo GTi and buying a 1m to replace both. I'm "back trading" you could say, not adding to the fleet or changing colours hehehehe

Anyway, back to the AW car, where are you getting it from Fredy? There was/is a loaded one on its way to Wollongong that I know of but during my due diligence a couple weeks ago that was the only white one un allocated in the 20 odd dealers I called.

No, mine is brand new, sitting in the showroom in Newcastle, north of Sydney. Pickup in less than two weeks, the earliest I can get there.

Well done on getting the car from Doncaster. Their Bundoora dealership has a black car also brand new, they wanted $4k over RRP and I don't pay over retail. Still at $116k it is way cheaper than that car on carsales. I think BSM will be rare and will be a better resale proposition down the track.

Guys,
My car was delivered without the 1M booklet as part of the owners manual. I've been told many 1Ms have been delivered without them and the issue has been raised with BMW AU.
Is anyone else missing the booklet? Has anyone else had it sent out by BMW AU?

I didn't have one at delivery but dealer ordered and has given me one.

Ian is correct, you're not missing much in terms of info but it would be good to have the complete hardcopy manual package if you should decide to move your car later.

I didn't get the 1m booklet either, I'm taking mine in for its first service tomorrow so I'll ask them to order one. My car told me service was due at about 1200kms, i thought this decision was a little hasty by the computer?

Also, can someone tell me what i should say to the service department so they will give me the first service for free, I know many people on here have had a free service?

I was sold after test driving a demo, I see what everyone has been saying about these cars. I loved it.

Alpine, I'm getting it from BMW Melbourne. Another one of those original buyer never picked it up so it became available this morning as I walked in (or so the story goes!)

If anyone's after a VO, there's potentially an unfulfilled order soon available as well at another dealer in Melbourne.
