IMO it improves the look only slightly...whether with clear or amber side repeaters - although I do agree, the amber side repeaters in the front headlamps look crap - thank goodness we get the clear versions as standard here in Aust.

The fit dosn't seem to be the best either, according to pic #2, the outer corner is sticking up, unless it has become unstuck ??

I've come across this prob with eyelids for other car types too, ie: they don't fit properly or true to the headlight contours...

Why?

I find it funny that someone would pay $40k for a car and then trash em up....if you want a "tuner", but a Honda civic.

The eyelids are not installed. I only put them on to show what they look like.

Again thanks for your opinion, as useless as it is. Why would you even bother posting if you are not into tuning the 1er. Why waste time reading posts if you like the car in stock form? Why even bother signing up to the forum to read what other people are doing to their car if you do not like tuning it? Please stop wasting space and get off my thread.

i think they look alright on that color, but throw it on an alpine or sedona 1 and you've got a problem. personally im a big fan of keeping the body stock and improving the look with a slight drop, tint, wheels, and of course a good detail.

As I said in that thread, they would be REALLY trick if they had a body line in them, even if it was ever so slight. The pronounced hood/fender line messes with your eyes when it ends into another body-colored panel. Maybe I'm just crazy...

Ah, I see, so that explains the miss-match I was referring to.

Look forward to final install pics for a better idea of the end look/result
