Best shocks to pair with Dinan springs?
So I have a set of Dinan lowering springs sitting in the garage while Ive been going back and forth on what shocks to pair them with. I had narrowed it down to the Koni Yellows, but now I'm thinking of their FSD shocks since the Yellows are on backorder until July. I also considered Bilsteins, but those always seem to be on backorder, and I'd actually like to get these installed before the summer's over lol.
Thought about the HP Autosport Koni adjustable rear shocks, but I honestly doubt I'd need that (plus it still leaves me on the backorder list for getting Koni Yellows for the front). Leaning towards the FSD setup currently. |

FSD is a good street setup..but from what I've read people that do any kind of track or auto-x on them cite some strange response from them. Koni Yellows or Bilstein B8 are a good bet.

The Bilsteins are on BO, too? Again, what's your rush? Summer doesn't end until 22 September. Heck, it's still Spring!

+1 on Bilstein using custom-valved Koni yellow dampers.

After reading up a bit more on the FSD's, you guys are right, I should probably just be patient and wait for the Koni Yellow's to replenish in stock. I may be out of the country in July, thats why I was hoping to do it sooner rather than later, but oh well.
I don't track the car (nor do I plan to anytime soon), though I do go on the occasional canyon runs. Went with the Dinan springs because it seemed like the best mild drop imo. I'm stockpiling parts in the garage at the moment, I'm hoping to get everything installed once I have it all |

You know, now that I'm looking again, I see the Dinan tuned Koni yellows on ECS. I wonder how much of a difference (or lack of) it would make to go with those or go with the generic off the shelf Koni yellows. The price difference is pretty substantial, about $400 between the regular set and the "Dinan optimized" set. As far as I can tell, the latter has adjustable dampening for the fronts, and thats about it from what I see.
