Just installed VMR V710's
Hi, just wanna show some close up pics of my newly installed VMR V710's. Before I got those, I was always searching for pic on the forum but surprisingly not too many people post close up pics at the angle that shows how the wheel fits as far as the offset goes. I got the 18x8.5 et45 F, 18x9.5 et50 R w/ 225/255 Michelin PSS tires. All I can say is, they are perfect for the 1 series, zero rubbing. I was going for the hyper silver, but the wait was just way too long. But as it turns out, the gun metal gives black car a more aggressive look...Thanks Daniel @ VMR for hooking me up with these.

Ski Killset, as u can see from the pics, the +50 sits perfectly flush with the rear fender. If u want the +45, I think the 245 tire would be better choice. The 255 might rub on the +45.

V710's look awesome on your car.
The V710's are VMR's optimal wheel for the 1 series. They make them in square (18x8.5 ET45) and staggered (18x8.5 ET45 + 18x9.5 ET50) formats. Im thinking about switching my square track setup (four 18x8.5 ET52 style 261 RIMS with 255/35R18 Dunlop Direzza ZII tires) for V710's. I have plenty of camber (-3.1*) and 10mm spacers in the front so the effective offset is ET42. I get minor rubbing during high speed turns at the track in the front only. I do not hear or feal when rubbing happens but noticed a faint rub mark on the outside of my front tire. I do not want to downsize my tires though so Im considering staggered V710's with 255/35R18 and no or smaller spacers in the front .... and 18x9.5 ET50 with 265/35R18 or 275/35R18 in the back. Rear camber is currently maxed out at -2.1* on stock suspension. Would this work without rear fender pulling or rolling?
