do burnout get misfires
Got the bright idea of I wonder how this thing does a burnout.
So I turn the DSC off, stop hold the brake and mash the gas (2nd start). Spun for maybe a second or 2 and it cut power and threw misfire codes on 1,3,5. Is this because even with DSC off it will still try to control wheel spin and it cuts ignition to do so? Does it only cut 1 bank? or alternate? |

If the ECU is cutting power to the engine to reduce wheel spin, you shouldn't be getting mis-fire codes, I don't think???

-alright bo duke relax. What your doing is a brake stand.
-you didn't turn the traction control all the way off and i'm not even going to tell you how -ask your dad how to do a burnout -did you turn the car on and off to fix your issue -our dsc system will throw out your coil packs from induced stress caused by the rapid cut off/on of your cylinders -it has nothing to do with the banks, kinda answered your own question as your misfire codes involved both banks -ignition firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4 your misfiring on the first 3 so this is a dsc issue -This isnt nascar you cant just lite up a burnout |
