These are actual precision cut pieces of carbon fiber moulded to match the interior trim. Think of them as "clip-on". There is no adhesive involved like the 3M wrap that you're thinking of.
Look at the pictures on the right side of the description. If you wanted gloss... thats what you're looking for.

hartge has some really nice looking gloss carbon fiber trim. but its 4k or so.. how is it compared to the bmw performance stuff though? anyone seen both in person?
