Yes the 3m 1080 is built to stretch to contour to curves. I may use di-noc next time since the roof isn't that badly curved.

It was pretty easy to install. Its easier to remove the shark fin and the roof rails. Need 2 people to place the vinyl and spray generously with soapy water on both side of vinyl and use a felt tip squeegee to iron out the creases and bubbles. Take your time with it and be patient. Hope that helps.

I took it to a local shop for install, they told me that seibon it's usually the best cf they seen. They just needed minor adjustment( sorry cant eleborate I was not involved) . I did not used pins.. Feels pretty firm.. ( I have the aerocatch on garage just in case)I could send you a couple of picts to your email

Adjustments usually coming from the mounting points on the hinge, loosen/snug down & lower to check location placement, then adjust directionally and tighten down. Hood installs are usually pretty easy with quality manufacturers, its the cheap items where a lot of fitment issues come into play. |
