Back to the topic guys

Kev,

Dealer charges is about $5000K I remember for 135s. That is full retails.

The luxury sales tax is excluding dealer delivery but includes options. That is 33 cents per dollar after $57123.

Use this the LCT is $7000!!!!!!

My advice - call Wayne!

Kev,

I just found out from the configurator (as suggestive above reply thread), that a 135i manual LeMan blue with M package is $82509.

Now stamp duty is $1425+($82509-$57009*5%) = $1425+1275 = $2700
LCT is $7615
That is already $92824. $94200 means $1376 delivery!!!! That is included rego.

I think the dealer forgot to add M sport money into the car, which is $1600. LeMan Blue has to have M sport pack, but the configurator said it is not free.

In Vic, once you go over the approx 57,000 threshold, the SD jumps to 5% on the ENTIRE price, not just the amount over the threshold

Taka
LCT and GST is included in the retail price of the car, they dont add it on to the price, so you can minus the $7615.00

Isn't the M-Sport package standard?

Not in convertibles, only standard in coupe

Kev, if LCT is in there - it is truely excessive!

I remember before negotiation, auto white coupe with adaptive headlight, sunroof and comfort entry is $91000K on the road rrp. I remember distinctly that dealer delivery is $4000

Of course I did not pay for that price at the end.

Stamp duty is paid to the dealer if you are buying from one, or to VicRoads for private sales.

You may be right - it is too confusing.

Definitely is Taka. If you go $1 over 57,009 you are up for an additional $1425 in stamp duty.

So, we ended up getting the car for $85k, thats nearly 10K less than Stillwells quoted me on the very same car.
Also remember that the price I paid included shipping to our door in Melbourne, but I couldn't wait so I flew up to Brisbane and drove it home.
