Yep, thats the same exact thing I thought of too when they were pointed out. Its got that angled-V look to them.

Also, you can see some GT-R in the back end too, how the areas above the exhaust pipes kinda cave in. Very similar to how it does on the GT-R right above its tailpipes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the power dome on the M3 necessary to fit all of the engine components under the hood? Why would the 1M need a power dome as we know the N54 fits just fine in the 1?

Scott said previously that it needed one hood vent for cooling and one for visual symmetry.

They've gone to a lot of trouble with cooling elsewhere. Does this engine still need it considering the design has changed since original conception?

Mirrors like the E36 M3. I like .

I think this car really will be a back-to-basics M car like the E36 was.

Oh yeah, and I don't know why the new M cars can't have a high redline. The new McLaren has a twin turbo V8, produces all its torque at 2k rpm, and holds torque and boost to redline at 8600rpm. McLaren has always been amazing though.

A hood bulge would also give space for a real strut brace...

I also think the the M-Power logo on the cover on the hood looks too strategically placed!

From certain angles in some photos under the M-Power logo it looks slightly raised. Especially those with lighting, like the wing mirror one Scott showed us.

I think a flux capaciter is under the hood and Dr. S will transport us to 1999 and we can have the best M car ever!

Agree. There's a slight bulge in the hood under the logo. Very subtle.

Funny, I thought the same thing when I first read it, but didn't know how to say it nicely...
