Ok so now C&D is praising the 1'er for being $10,000 cheaper than the 328 verte. I thought they didn't like the 1 series because it was priced too close to the 3 series :iono:

^^^ Actually in Canada, the 1er ragtop is almost $20K less expensive than its 3er big brother counterpart (when you include PST/GST on the diff)...
So, I think the 1er Cabrio is a hell of a deal here...

The 1-er coupe price is about $5-6k diff compared to the 3-er coupes. The 1-er cabrio is about about $10k less than the 3-er cabrios. So C&D can complain about the coupe prices being too close while thinking the 1-er cabrio is a "bargain" compared to the 3-series cabrio. The folding hard top on the 3-series convertible adds weight and inflates the price.
