Updated Garage
So, a couple months ago I introduced myself and my big plans for my 1. Unfortunately, I had decided to go with a different route. However, I have been busy with updating the garage in my house that I bought this past October. Getting ready for the spring, and my new... addition The 1 is a great DD especially with the JB4, DCI's, Catless DP's, E85, and some light cosmetic with a CF wrapped roof, BMS angel eyes, Paint matched kidney's.
Anyways, here are some before, after, and one teaser of what is to come And no, the ADV's in the pictures are sadly not for the 1. Side note: I'll get some proper pictures done, no worries. I am also learning my way around a camera so hopefully I can get something nice together. Enjoy. Before (How I got the house) After Last but not least, a little teaser (crappy cell phone picture) |

Quite a GOOD decision, I'll say.
You've put $ to good use by investing into your own home. Not only are you "adding" value to it, but you'll also be enjoying it too! Your mod list sounds very satisfactory as it is already for daily-ing! On a side note: YOU sir, is a TORQUE FIEND! |

Looks like a c class amg unless its just sporting the amg wheels. And I hate you and your amazing garage. It is my dream to one day own a garage with a black an white checker floor. I want my garage to be like another room not a storage area. My car is a member of my fam an it's room should feel just as homey as the rest of the house.

I love it as well Might use the c63 as the DD and make the 1 a track prepped beast over time. Key words being over time.

The tiles are also the stick on type which really don't stick well at all the the cement. So, I got liquid nails to put them down... They aren't moving. Just have to use a good sealant. No protection necessary for the top of the tile. I then wrapped a 4'' rubber weather stripping around the garage to mate on top of the tile to reduce any water getting underneath. Lastly, I went around with a clear sealant that you'd use pretty much around a shower for the tiles in the front. Water does get under the garage door sometimes so I protected those. As for the paint, I feel as though that is pretty straight forward. Luckily the dry wall was already up for me though it was done wrong. Instead of the sheets being put on vertically they were done horizontally. Not the end of the world though. ** My garage also isn't huge. It is about 17' x 17'. So figure about being generous on cost at $600 total for all the little nickel and dime things you end up getting the project cost me $2.10/sq foot. Get your square footage, multiply by that, and that should be appx what the project would cost you. Let me know if there are any other questions. |
