Cause of the paint? Do the body lines not match up IRL? Is there some specific fitment issue? Or is it a taste sort of thing?

Yeah, I know... guess I'm not aware of all the cliques. Any chance you figured out the side indicators? I think that's the only issue left.

Hope you come out to join us when our 1s are done with our conversions too.

Wasn't able to figure that out yet. I had some other problems occur from going insane in the rain lol. However my car seems to be running better now with a fixed intercooler. I think I may have been losing a few psi.

Also one problem you guys may need to know. I forgot to mention the horn is basically useless. It needs to be relocated so I need to figure that out as well.

The horn is useless? My tech would have told me if there was an issue with that. I'll check it out this week when I pick her up. I never press my horn anyway though, I usually only use my brights if there's something wrong.

About the side indicators, it might be the same as using alternative Angel Eye Halos where you need to fool the car into thinking that its the same current with a black box. The other option is to use 1M coding... I have asked my SA if that'd be possible in our cars, I dont know if he was seriously looking into it though...

Yeah my horn sounds like a clown car horn so when I went back to LT this weekend to fix my intercooler, I asked them wtf was up. He said he had to relocate it and I'm lucky it even works haha. I may just get rid of it and install my old siren/blow horn I had in my old car.

Sorry guys I've been so lazy getting everything fixed. I've been busy but I'm making a list now of everything I need to finish.

As far as coding, that shouldn't be too hard. I have to go to LT again next weekend to raise my car a few notches so I'll see what they have to say about that.

lol that sucks. Thanks for the update. Yeah coding shouldn't be too bad. Especially if its just loading a f/w.

GTHAUS exhaust - it just arrived the other day.

Why is your horn useless? My car used to have a dinan intake. During the install I had to bend my horn bracket for the snorkel to fit. With the 1M front end install, I bent the horn bracket a bit more and the 1M ducting fit fine. I haven't tried honking it yet, but I dont see why anything would have changed. I will test it out tonight and report back.

Interesting... I'll give it a look through. Like I said, I haven't been too on top of any of this. I just saw an opportunity to make my car look beast mode and I had to get it done for SEMA so it was rushed. Some minor things I need to fix and I've just been too busy working or spraying champagne to fix it lol. I promise the car will be COMPLETED by the end of Feb.

I cant wait to see it finished. Did you readup on Venom's find about the 1M exhaust hooks/ rear reinforcement bar? The hooks are attached to the bar, which is why we couldnt find a part number for it. They are also not on the diagram on RealOEM. I was planning on doing my rear exhaust last weekend but after Venom showed me the hangers I had to hold off on the install and order that part this morning from Reeves BMW.

Yeah he PM'ed me about that last week. I'm currently making a list right now of parts I need to order so I'll be sure to add that! Hopefully I'll have everything ordered by this week.

Hey Tony,
Both venom and I tried our horns out today.

My horn sounds normal. I bent my horn bracket during my dinan Intake install but left it that way after I sold the part. When I was building my front end I noticed that the horn comes into contact with the ducting. I further bent it to clear.

Venoms horn sounds slightly higher pitch than mine but it would only really be noticeable if you heard the two horns side by side.

Hope that info helps.
