I know this is an old thread, but I ran my 128i this weekend just for fun. Only mods so far - BMW PE and K&N Filter. This is in the AT steptronic. My reaction time is crappy cuz I was holding the brake while trying to gain RPM for my launch... Didn't work lol... My car is the one on the right. Opponent was a 370Z.

Yup! Shorter runners higher redline, custom pipe to euro air box from the new manifold and tune. More top end power only down side is a little less tq down low but that's not a deal breaker for me. Right now I just have a the Disa stage 3 with euro box and AA tune.

AA is going to send me a updated map for this and will upload it at the same time while the car is at the shop Gettig the work done. They may do it since they have a close relationship with AA too. Apparently AA already knows about the N54 intake manifold mod but never told anyone?!? Idk lol

I wanna see how the N54 intake swap affects the torque curve. With a N52, I don't know if I'd want to loose ANY of it's 200 ftlbs of torque. It's not like you have alot to spare. If this makes more usable power over the Disa Intake mod, I'll be shocked.

If the torque is around where the single stage manifold is and peak hp is higher, it would be worth it.

If anyone is looking for a Stage 3 Disa manifold mine is up for sale now guys. It's getting removed Thursday when they do the n54 manifold conversion and I would like to use the money to fund this project. I'll take pictures of it on my car. Comes with everything, I'm taking low offers now so don't be shy.

No next Thursday boss. My stage 3 Disa that's on my car now is already sold, so as soon as it comes out next week ya being shipped the following day to the buyer!!! I sold it for 350. Needed to fund this project. They told me they want to baseline dyno then dynoe again to tune for the manifold. I'll be super busy next weekend because I got a bodybuilding show im doing that same weekend haha but I'll try and keep you guys updated!!!
