are you using different tires than O.E.? It looks like the the tires are more blocked on the outside than curved, thus possibly giving the appearance of more sidewall than really is?

Those 19" RGRs are pretty sweet and still lightweight (tho would still be a performance loss compared to your 18s ) |

They look taller b/c they are wider and not stretched out.
235/40-18 all around... or.... 195/75-14... I can't remember!

Thanks guys. I do love my wheels and I would never willingly part with them. It's just funny how staring at 19"ed, dropped, and spacer-ed e90s all day can warp your mind!!!
Luckily a quick 20 minute commute and I am mostly cured!

Part of it's probably that they are a darker color, makes the wheels look smaller, kinda like why women wear black to look slimmer or people paint rooms white to make them look larger.

i've been meaning to ask you. Are those 8.0 or 8.5 RGR because I remember you mentioned you weren't sure yourself. I saw all your close up shots and compared them to a bunch of 225/40-18 setups. 235/40-18 make that much of a difference than the recommended 225/40-18. They do look a lot more blocked out than curved as someone mentioned (not a bad thing). BBS 8.5, I was thinkin of going with the 235/40-18 PZeroNeroM+S as well for a bit more protection but I am surprised at the difference. That is why I was curious if you have 8.0 RGR. thanks. Anyoneelse, feel free to chime in. 225/40-18 vs. 235/40-18 on 8.5 |
