Isn't that for a 2007 European 1-series?

Yeah, I know, there's probably not THAT much difference, but there may be little variations here and there....

It's for model year up to 2007, not sure if that will cover the 2008+ E82s. When was the E82 introduced in Europe? 2007 or 2008?

I believe it was released in 2007 in Europe. My point is that there's often minor variances between model years even when the basic design hasn't changed, which is why you should always get the service manual for your specific year.

And since the manual offered on eBay is for a 2007 E82 (which was not sold in the USA,) there's no telling what other minor differences there might be.

On June 27, 2007, BMW released official information about the new upcoming 1-series Coupé. In Europe, the Coupé would be available fall 2007 in 3 engine specifications: the known 120d and the new 204 hp (152 kW) 123d and 306 hp (228 kW) 135i, both twin-turbo engines.
On 30 June 2007, BMW of North America officially announced the 1-Series Coupé as a 2008 model (code named E82) and that will be the first 1 Series to go on sale in the USA...

so how much do you thing they changed in 3 days??? it is the same car...the only differences i can think of would be extra safety systems required in the US

Well, then, that's a potential difference that won't be covered, isn't it?

I just bought one and I think it is worth it for $15. I will use it for minor DIY repair in the near future like installing coil over and also equip myself with the technical knowledge before talking to a BMW technician about any warranty or non-warranty work. I always bought a service manual for all the cars that I owned. This manual is cheap compare to other manufactures charged $40-$120 per copy.
