As far as classic digital watches, does anyone remember these: (picture below).

Your quite correct. The Rolex Dayton in stainless steel is extremely hard to come by. Most Rolex dealers get only 1-2 per year from Rolex. The list price is a bit over 7k on the watch, but they typically go for between 9-10k due to supply and demand on the secondary markets.

That watch in white gold with meteorite dial has a list price north of 20k.

Breitling is a very well respected watch company. Which one do you have currently? I have a good friend who has a moonphase Navitimer, and he just picked up a B-1.

I have a colt automatic. My first watch in the upper end of watches and it fit my budget. He payed $23,000 for the watch and you can tell it is very expensive. He also has the oyster perpetual with a meteorite face in rose gold. Thats north of 20k also. He has his own business and just sells BMW cause he loves the cars. He doesnt need the money at all. Must be nice.

I love breitling and I cant wait to get the Navitimer World. I am only 27 so its more my taste. Most rolex watches look like they are for the older crowd IMO.

Well, I am 35....do I qualify as "older crowd??

Presidential and Datejusts, yes...definitely an older man's watch. But the Professional series is quite popular among younger folks...especially the Submariner.

I'm betting you'd like a Yacht-master. :rocks:

wow. im very jealous. i have wanted and came very close to buying a rolex for the last 3 or 4 years now. i would be totally happy with a "cheap" one. like a datejust in stainless. i hate yellow gold, and i be fine with the stainless over white gold. for now. any time i have a some extra money saved up though, i blow it on something else for about that same amount of money. rims, tvs, other electronics, whatever.

Well, we all have interests and priorities...it's hard to chase after everything...gotta draw the line somewhere, right?

Give a call to Rolex USA (located in NY) at (212) 758-7700. They can tell you the MSRP on the 16220 and can provide you with a list of authorized dealers near you.
