Hi Guys, looking for a little info.
I drive a 2011 135 m sport everything stock. Looking to accomplish two things. I currently run VMR V718 - 18 inch 8.5 et 45 front and 9.5 et 50 rear. 1. I want to reduce the wheel "poke" as much as possible without introducing a lot of rubbing or mod work. 2. I want to increase my tire life. I typically run Hankook V12s 225 40 18 front 265 35 18 in the rear with no rubbing at all. Currently I am looking at getting the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 and bumping them up in width to a 235 front, 265 rear... or potentially 275 rear to reduce poke even further. Do you think this is possible in my current situation? Anyone have experience with these tires/sizes? If not, what would need to be done to fit this setup, and would it work to remove the poke I currently have, and increase my tire life. Thanks for any help you can provide. |
