Long time reader, first time poster

Good Morning everyone!

I've been quietly lurking in the shadows browsing for quite some time now, and I figured it was time to finally make my first post. I purchased my 135 a little over 18 months ago and she has been my everything ever since. Haven't done much to her just a few cosmetic changes to really bring out her eyes (plastidip kidneys and upgraded LED DRL's). She has really been whining about getting new shoes and I think this summer I may spoil her with some. Let's see if I can attach a few photos of her in this thread.

Have a great day!

You should adjust the two hood alignment pins to square it out with the left and right fenders.

It's interesting, most 1ers I've seen shipped from the factory that way.

yeah I've noticed this, when i was shopping for a 135i two of the three were like this that i test drove. When i first saw it i thought the car had been in a front end collision. As to why they would ship them new like that is wierd to say the least.

Is that what's causing the hood to be a little low when it's closed? Seems like pretty sloppy factory work to not have the alignment pins adjusted before delivery so that the hood lines up at the right height.

OP: great car! Welcome to 1addicts.

Yup, same exact thought process on my behalf.

It's pretty inexcusable sloppiness at the factory frankly.
