Do 4 tires fit in a convertible?

Hi everyone,
I'm looking to pick up a second set of wheels and tires without making two trips, and I was wondering if you can fit four tires and wheels in a convertible at the same time. I've actually never been in a coupe, but it seems like the rear seat and trunk are all pretty narrow to make room for the roof mechanism in the 'vert.

Please let me know if you can fit all inside the car and trunk at once, thanks!

If I got 4 wheels and 4 tires separated in my coupe, you can get 4 tires in your vert. 1 in the front seat, 2 in the back seat one in the trunk if you want to play it easy. You could probably fit them neater than that.

Yes, it'll fit 4 tires mounted on wheels. I do it whenever I swap my snows. Usually I do 1 in the trunk, 2 in the left/right back seat, and 1 standing-up in the front pass seat. It may be possible to fit 2 in the trunk, but rather than forcing it, I do it this way.

That looks better than my method. I do 2 in the trunk and 2 in the back with the seats down. All lying down. My summers are staggered though so I have to make sure the fronts go in the trunk as the rears are too fat to have them overlap and still fit.

Convertible back seats are narrower than coupes but there should still be space.

Damn... Thanks..

I was thinking about asking this question this week after finding great snow tire wheels and wanting to get new rubber and TPMS installed on the new wheels and save the snow tires for the stock wheels..

The "Aloha" towels are a nice touch.. I'll try to follow your design ideas carefully...

They definitely fit. I fit all four in the back seat. Two in each seat laying flat.

Alternatively you could do three and 1 in the trunk

Put the top down and stack them.

I haven't been able to do it with the top up. I wait until I REALLY need to swap wheels/tires, or I wait for a nice day / a day without any precipitation. Then I can fit 4 wheels/tires in the back seat.

I recently purchased a 135i vert and it came with two sets of wheels and tires. The spare set did fit in the car (1 in the trunk and 3 in the rear seats). And they did fit with the top up (it was -12*C when I picked my 135i up so the top wouldn't have been down anyways).

THis is what I did. Two on each seat. Then I put the roof back up and it worked perfectly

I did it by placing one in the trunk, 2 on rear seat and 1 on passenger seat.
